Read the record beyond the word “scam.”

This archive gathers important public-accountability matters from 1947 onward. It uses the everyday language readers search for, but it never treats that language as a legal finding. Every entry must show what kind of record it is and what that record can—and cannot—establish.

Essential distinction: an audit observation is not a criminal conviction. An allegation, FIR, arrest, inquiry or charge is not proof of guilt. Court and agency outcomes belong to the specific proceeding they decide.

Record labels used in this archive

Label	Meaning	It does not mean
Audit observation	An audit institution documented a process issue, compliance concern or estimate.	That a person committed an offence or that an estimate equals a final adjudicated loss.
Allegation / investigation	A documented complaint, FIR, inquiry or agency investigation exists.	That the allegation was proven.
Charge / trial	A court has reached the stated procedural stage in a particular case.	A final outcome for every related person or proceeding.
Outcome	A conviction, acquittal, closure, withdrawal or court order is directly cited.	That separate appeals, connected cases or later developments have the same result.
