Rule: an empty field is better than an invented fact. Every imported record must keep its source, source date, verification date and any uncertainty visible.
The archive data loop
Source → record → verification → public page → correction. This shared loop powers PMs, parties, protests, constituencies and state dossiers alike.

Required fields for every record
Identity
- Record type, canonical name, aliases, place, state/UT, related person or organisation, and date range
Evidence
- Direct source URL, source publisher, source type, source publication date, archive snapshot date and last verification date
Status
- Published, under review, historical, current, disputed, superseded, merged, split, dissolved, delisted, acquitted, convicted or closed — as applicable
Relationships
- Predecessor, successor, parent organisation, split, merger, coalition, constituency boundary, cabinet, law, protest or court case

External setup still required
The website's dedicated Supabase project already has its isolated database design. Email verification, public comments and correction submissions cannot be safely tested until its dedicated Auth settings are configured after login. The active Function app project remains outside this website's scope and will not be touched.
