Heritage, ecology and civic record
Rakhigarhi and historic landscapes
Rakhigarhi is a major Harappan archaeological site. Kurukshetra, Panipat, Pinjore and the Surajkund cultural landscape require separate archaeological and historical sources; none is labelled UNESCO World Heritage without inscription.
Wetlands and protected nature
Sultanpur National Park and Bhindawas Wildlife Sanctuary are Ramsar wetlands. Kalesar National Park, the Aravalli hills and Shivalik foothills have distinct legal boundaries and conservation pressures.
Farm movements
Haryana was central to the 2020–21 farm-law mobilisation. Demands, policing, negotiations, repeal and court proceedings are dated separately; participation does not establish a single political affiliation.
Reservation and social mobilisation
Jat reservation agitations and other movements are recorded through government, court and commission documents, with protest, violence, damage, arrest and adjudication kept distinct.

Audits and public accountability
| Record | What it establishes |
|---|
| CAG State Finances reports | Audited analysis of receipts, expenditure, debt, budgeting and financial reporting for a specified year. |
| CAG compliance and performance audits | Department-specific findings within the stated sample, period and audit criteria. |
| Courts, commissions and authorised agencies | Legal status must be stated as allegation, inquiry, charge, trial, judgment, appeal or closure—not collapsed into “scandal.” |
An audit finding is not by itself a criminal conviction. Political responsibility, administrative failure, civil liability and criminal guilt are separate questions.
